ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Jen
I'm a counsellor-in-training, integration guide, and lifelong student of what it means to live well.
I believe that meaningful change doesn't come from fixing ourselves. It comes from learning to listen more deeply to our body, our emotions, our relationships, and the quieter parts of ourselves we've learnt to ignore.
Whether someone comes to me through counselling, plant medicine integration, or Human Design, my intention is the same: to help them cultivate greater self-awareness and live a little more embodied.

my journey
For a long time, I was a high school teacher. And for a long time, that felt like enough. I was good at it and I genuinely cared about the people in front of me. But underneath that, something was quietly running out. The kind of burnout that doesn't look like burnout from the outside. You're still showing up. You're still functioning. But you've lost the thread back to yourself. I left teaching without a clear plan. Just a persistent and uncomfortable feeling that something needed to change, even if I didn't yet know what. What followed was a few years of searching. I travelled. I lived in different places, sat with different cultures, absorbed different ways of understanding what a meaningful life could look like. That time didn't give me a neat answer. But it gave me something quieter and more useful - permission to stop performing a version of myself that wasn't quite true. It was during that season that I encountered plant medicine. I came to it honestly, out of curiosity and a genuine desire to understand myself better. What I found was humbling and magical and at times genuinely confronting. But it also gave me something I hadn't been able to find on my own, a felt sense of direction. A kind of clarity that cut through a lot of noise. The integration - sitting with what had opened, making slow meaning of it, learning to actually live differently. That's where the real change happened. And that realisation is, honestly, what led me here. Because I know how much it matters to have the right support during that time. And I know how rarely people find it. I'm now retraining as a counsellor and psychotherapist, and I work alongside that as an integration guide and plant medicine facilitator. I bring my teaching background, my counselling training, my Human Design knowledge, and my own lived experience into everything I do. I'm still in my own becoming, and I think that's what makes this work real.
You might be my person if...
The people I work with are usually somewhere between who they were and who they're becoming and that in-between feels both important and uncomfortable. Maybe something cracked you open: a ceremony, a relationship ending, a career that stopped making sense, or simply a quiet moment of realising you've drifted from yourself.
You're self-aware, you've done some reading, you've talked to people you trust ,but you're looking for a space that can hold both the depth of what you're carrying and the practicality of what comes next.
That's what I try to offer.
